Role and responsibilities:

Therefor we embarked on an ambitious transformation journey called Mobility 2025. At the heart of this journey, attracting and developing talent is key and the Talent Management function is equally transforming, embracing numerous fascinating challenges. That’s why D’Ieteren is currently looking for a Talent Manager ad interim. The objective is to reinforce the Leadership Development team with Talent management expertise and practices in order to deploy our Talent agenda. Through his/ her action, the Talent Manager contributes to building a great place to work by living our values. 

SCOPE:
D’Ieteren Automotive core with its prestigious brands (VW, Audi, Seat, Cupra, Skoda, Porsche, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Bentley) and its subsidiaries that includes retail, leasing, second-hand cars, electric chargers or bike activities, from mature business to start-ups (2300 FTE’s in total).
The Talent Manager interacts with multiple stakeholders across the organization, in close collaboration with his/ her HR colleagues and more specifically with the HRBP’s.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
Lead the Talent Review and Succession Plans process : key roles, succession and talent pools, talent review meetings and talent conversations
Foster Talent Development at all levels : feedback and career conversations, development plans, assessment and development centers, coaching
Deploy the Performance management cycle : co-ownership of the process with Compensation & Benefits
Maintain the Competency model : strategic competencies, link with training and other HR processes
Manage the Career model (holistic view of the functions in the organization) : co-ownership of the review and assessment of the functions with Compensation & Benefits
Develop Talent management capabilities : inspiration, education, support to HR and business leaders in matters related to talent management and people development
All those activities require a good understanding of Talent Management strategy and practices, as well as proximity with the business reality. Ability to effectively deliver the strategy, deploy the related processes and improve they are key. It means that the candidate will be action driven, will connect easily with stakeholders and will bring pragmatism in his/her approach.       

COMPETENCES & EXPERIENCE:
Expertise and experience in Talent Management
Knowledge of Organization Design is a plus
At ease with both strategy and operational delivery
Appetite for fast moving environments and change
Enjoy stakeholders management, networking  and team work
Ability to communicate in an inspiring way
Good understanding of HRIS (Success Factors is an asset)
